Translated from the Irish language “My Soul”, M'Anam is an all-male vocal group that has grown naturally out of the extraordinary phenomenon that is Anúna.
Their highly atmospheric music spans millennia of texts and melodies and is created and arranged by the group themselves and their Artistic Director Michael McGlynn. This new exciting group will makes their début just a few weeks before the Water Music Festival at Limerick Sing's Choral Festival at the UL Concert Hall in June. The performance by the group will incorporate some well-known material such as Fionnghuala and The Parting Glass, together with Scottish traditional songs and an eclectic collection of contemporary music, including classical and more accessible pieces.
